On the way back from LSA/ADS in New Orleans, a the top of a shaker of cinnamon sugar that I bought from a Cafe Beignets popped off in my carryon and coated everything in my suitcase in cinnamon sugar - most can be washed, except the novelty 2D sweater, cozy bear hat, my backpack purse, and the suitcase itself, which all smell good but cannot be considered clean.
I have called this The Great Cinnamon-Sugaring of 2026, and the phrase pleases me. I think WOTY candidates will veer more personal and idiosyncratic for me this year.
